Hello there everyone,



As previously i explained what i am researching about, in have done the primary research which i had to conduct a survey and to find out what effects the background, social issue and where people come from. As going to the city centre the group with me have got various replies and put them in a bar chart. This provided us with the answers we expected. We have got people saying they come from a background where there is peace and quiet and considering themselves as working class and few are in education or returned to education. After the questionnaires we put them into a bar chart and then wrote our individual reports on 'how poverty affects education' which i managed to finish on time before the deadline which is on 31st May. Although i have finished the project report on 'How poverty affects education', i shall be making a PowerPoint about it for a presentation which is due on 6th June.  As for the secondary research I and Jennifer have tried to find out information from, books and magazines but unfortunately we didn't find anything and started to get information on the internet and journal which Mark was doing. We found the information we needed and concluded it in our reports.

Hello everyone ,just to up date on our project . To carry further ivestigation in to Scotlands unhealty lifestyle and focusing particulary on the Glasgow district ,as a group of four this being Jason,Coleen,Murrey and my self., we produced a questionnere. 45 questionnaires were issuded to students at Stow College in April 2011 The Questionnaire asked, what your postcode is,your age,how do you rate your life style ,the amount of alcohol if you drank,if you smoked and what sort of food you ate. Having gathered all the information ,Murrey was able to calculate all the numbers and put them in to percentages, many thanks to Murrey. Our primary research was obtained from the internet where information was gathered as to the causes and concerns of Scotlands unhealthy lifestyle, information was also gained through newspaper articles .We are now the stage where we have been asked to write a report on our topic . I am studying Access Social Sciences, part of this course is a class called Project. My project along with my group members, Mark Bird and Ayesha Ahmed is,
'How Poverty affects Education. And if it does.'
At the moment we have our secondary and primary research, now we have to coalate them into an individual report. The aim is to see if poverty factors into poor education and if the more well off you are, the better you do.

I am currently studying Access Social Science.I am in a group of 3 which consists Jennifer Irwin, Mark Bird and myself. As we have done our secondary research, we are now doing primary research. Our aim of this study is 'how poverty affects education'. By doing this study we will be conducting a questionnaire to find out what effects of background, social issue and where people come from which we will be going to the city centre, and then put them into a bar graph which we successfully have done. Now we have started to write our reports which is due on 31st May.

hello , the blog update is to tell you the progress of my report project. Basically our topic was multicultural Glasgow and our group made up a questionaire for people to fill out. Mostly all of the questionaires were positive but some wernt and i am using the negative ones and link it to sectarianism in Glasgow. I will use information from the questionaires and link it to the secondary information that i found previously. In the report i will use pie charts and some graphs to back up my information.
